Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pyliq ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Getaway: Bhabhi Card Game (the "app"), available on iOS and Android. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

Pyliq is a Canadian software company and the developer of Getaway: Bhabhi Card Game. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at contact@bhabhicardgame.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the game.

Automatically collected:

• Anonymous device identifier — a randomly generated ID created on first launch, used to identify your account without requiring an email or password. This resets if you reinstall the app.
• Country — your device's country setting, used for regional content and analytics.
• Language / locale — your device language, used to display the app in your preferred language (English, Hindi, or Punjabi).

Provided by you (optional):

• Display name — a nickname you can set in the Profile screen. This is visible to other players in multiplayer rooms.

Game data:

• Game history, win/loss/Bhabhi statistics, coin balance, and coin transaction records.
• Multiplayer room and game state — shared with other players in the same room in real time.

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other personal information unless you explicitly provide it.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To run and sync your game account across sessions
• To operate multiplayer rooms and real-time gameplay
• To display your display name to other players in rooms you join
• To show your statistics on the leaderboard
• To credit coins earned from gameplay, daily bonuses, and rewarded ads
• To prevent fraud and enforce daily coin-earning limits
• To serve advertisements via Google AdMob (see Section 5)

4. Data Storage and Security

Your game data is stored on servers provided by Supabase (supabase.com), a US-based backend service. By using the app, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and stored in the United States or other countries outside Canada. Supabase uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We apply row-level security policies so each user can only access their own data.

Your device identifier and settings are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage.

5. Advertising

The app displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. We use non-personalized ads by default, meaning ads are not targeted based on your personal history or profile.

On iOS, the app will request permission to use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, non-personalized ads continue to be shown — the game works fully either way.

AdMob may use limited signals (such as coarse location from IP address and device type) even for non-personalized ads, as permitted by Google's policies. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Rewarded ads (watching a video for bonus coins) are verified server-side by Google. When you watch a rewarded ad, Google sends a verification callback to our server containing your anonymous profile ID and the coin amount. No personal data is shared in this process.

6. In-App Virtual Currency

The app uses a virtual coin system. Coins are earned through gameplay, daily bonuses, and watching rewarded ads. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be purchased with real money, and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for cash or any real-world goods.

7. Multiplayer and Other Players

When you join a multiplayer room, your display name (or "Guest" if you haven't set one) is visible to other players in that room. Game events (cards played, outcomes) are broadcast to all players in real time. We do not store chat messages — there is no in-game chat.

8. Children's Privacy

The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Since we do not require an account or any personal information to play, the app is inherently privacy-safe for younger users. If you believe a child has provided personal information (such as a display name containing real personal details), please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

9. Data Retention

Your game account and associated data are retained for as long as the account is active. If you stop using the app and your account shows no activity for 24 months, we may delete the account and associated data.

Since the app uses anonymous authentication, there is currently no in-app account deletion option. To request deletion of your data, contact us at contact@bhabhicardgame.com with your device's anonymous profile ID (visible in the Profile screen). We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data. We comply with applicable privacy laws including:

• Canada (PIPEDA / BC PIPA) — under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act, Canadian residents may request access to or correction of their personal information, and may withdraw consent to its collection or use.
• EU / UK (GDPR) — EU and UK residents have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port their data, and to object to processing.
• India (DPDP Act, 2023) — Indian residents have the right to access, correct, and erase their personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@bhabhicardgame.com. Because accounts are anonymous, we may ask you to confirm your profile ID to locate your data. We will respond within 30 days.

11. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and real-time: supabase.com/privacy
• Google AdMob — advertising: policies.google.com/privacy

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify users through the app.
